Design Assignment -Trying Surrealism

This piece had a bunch of stuff we had to consider while making it, but the goal was to pull a minimum of five objects out of context including a well known piece of art. I chose Manet's Olympia. The original represents a high-class prostitute, portrayed as confidant and assertive by the way she meets the viewers gaze. In taking her out of context, I attempted to remove her power (confidence) over the viewer instead of merely moving her to another location. I believe I lost.
This piece actually isn't my favorite. I just uploaded it because I'm proud of the craftsmanship. In hindsight, it was rather uncomfortable working on it. :/
